A short video of the deployment of an ocean glider in the Southern Ocean.

The Australian National Facility for Ocean Gliders (ANFOG) is a facility of the Australian Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ocean glider fleet. You can find out more about ocean gliders on the ANFOG website.

This ocean glider was recovered 78 days later off the south coast of Tasmania.
