OrientationAs well as completing general administrative procedures, the
orientation days give you a chance to familiarise yourself with
the building, staff and other students. It is also your
opportunity to resolve any general queries you may have.
Academic PathwaysDetailed information on the 3 majors in the Environmental
Engineering degree; Water Resources Engineering, Ocean Systems
Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
Entry RequirementsAdmission to the University of Western Australia (UWA) is very competitive. There are always more applicants than there are places available. As a result, the minimum academic standards required for
entry to the various courses are high. These requirements
ensure that everyone who enters UWA shares the same fundamental
level of knowledge and skills necessary to do well in their
studies, and enjoy their time at UWA.
ActivitiesSESE provide a wide range of activities for students to
participate in within the school and across the campus including Swan for Kids and Robbons of Blue. These
range from workshops, modeling and demonstations to practical
camps with fellow students and staff which foster good learning
environments and increase bonds between students and staff.
