Swan for Kids

This is an educational resource designed to complement the Swan River model which mimics the physical behaviour of the river. In Swan for Kids, we consider social, cultural, historical as well as environmental facets of the river.

Ribbons of Blue/Waterwatch WA

Ribbons of Blue/Waterwatch WA is an environmental education network aimed at increasing community awareness and understanding about local water quality, and taking action for a better environment. Our coordinators around the state work with school and community groups on a range of educational and local action projects that can include water quality monitoring and waterway restoration.

The UWA Science Experience

In January each year, the School participates in the University's annual UWA Science Experience – a three-day, hands-on science experience designed specifically for school students entering years 10 and 11.

'Becoming an Engineer with UWA' info sessions

In the lead up to the university application deadline, the Faculty runs regular information sessions where you can find out everything you need to know to become an engineer with UWA.

Whether you're coming to the end of your time at high school and are considering your university study options, or you already have an undergraduate degree and are looking to re-skill or complete postgraduate study, our 'Becoming an Engineer with UWA' information sessions will provide you with all of the info you need to achieve an engineering career.
